The battery capacity of smart phones is getting bigger and bigger. In addition to the power saving capability, the charging speed has become a feature that users are paying more and more attention to. Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology has become one of the best examples in the industry. Following the Quick Charge 2.0 specification, the latest Quick Charge 3.0 technology (QC3.0 for short), the average mobile phone only needs to charge for about 35 minutes. QC3.0 is backward compatible with previous versions of Quick Charge and supports the latest USB Type-C connectors; it is more flexible in charging options, QC2.0 offers 5V / 9V / 12V / 20V four voltage options QC3.0 offers flexible selection of voltages in the range of 3.6V to 20V in increments of 200mV. This allows the phone to select the most suitable voltage to achieve the desired charging current, thereby minimizing power loss, improving charging efficiency and improving thermal performance.
